Maximising Energy Savings

Halder Venture Limited is committed to reducing its environmental footprint through enhanced energy efficiency. By implementing targeted energy-saving measures, the company has successfully cut energy consumption by 4.4%–6%. It also leverages renewable energy for 70%–75% of rice milling and 85%–86.7% of oil extraction processes, significantly lowering reliance on non-renewable power and supporting cleaner, greener industrial operations.

What are the by-products & where are they used?

Rice husk

Rice husk, often seen as a simple outer layer, becomes a powerful resource for us. It serves as a clean biofuel, supports eco-friendly construction materials, and enriches soil as a natural conditioner. When burned, the husk transforms into silica-rich ash that finds new purpose in cement, ceramics, and even toothpaste, proving how a humble by-product can strengthen multiple industries in a sustainable way.

Broken & Rejected Rice

Broken and rejected rice are far from wasted. Broken grains find their way into processed foods, brewing, and snack manufacturing, adding value across multiple food industries. Rejected rice, though not fit for human consumption, becomes a nutrient-rich feed for livestock and poultry. Together, they ensure that every grain contributes meaningfully, whether on the plate or in supporting healthy, thriving animals.

Rice Bran & DORB

Rice bran is refined into edible oil and health supplements, while its de-oiled form (DORB) becomes a vital ingredient for cattle, poultry, and aquaculture feed. At Halder Venture Limited, this journey goes a step further.

We transform DORB into Hafleed Pro Veg, a value-added, nutrient-rich feed that offers farmers an affordable way to support healthier, stronger livestock. Oil Extracts
