SALES MANAGER

Job description
1. Lead the sales of parboiled rice in Russia and related operational activities including, but not limited to,
importation, banking, accounting, etc.
2. Manage P&L for the sales in the Russian market
3. Sales of rice has to be done through both wholesale and modern trade channels across Russia
4. Wholesale sales
i. Focus on business development & market expansion across all regions of Russia
ii. Develop long-term wholesale buyer network across Russia
iii. Push and create demand for a wide range of parboiled rice (6-7 different SKUs), and ensure sales
of at least 3-4K MT rice per month across the country
5. Modern Trade sales
i. Lead listing of our parboiled rice SKUs in major modern trade chains across the country.
ii. Manage sales, marketing, and merchandising for these SKUs across the different modern trade
chains.
iii. Ensure demand growth, sales volume, and increased profitability for these SKUs
6. Manage all port activities (Novorossiysk, Vladivostok, and St. Petersburg), warehouse operations and
supply chain.
7. Ensure cost control to increase efficiency and profitability of the entire business in Russia
Experience Requirements:
1. Must know Russian as well as English
2. Experience working in Russia for an extended period of time
3. Strong food product sales acumen
4. Proactive and goal-oriented
5. Strong communication and leadership skills
6. Adaptable to diverse market situations and conditions
7. Highly organized and dependable

**Industry preference: Agro-commodity / Food Products / FMCG (Rice industry preferred)**
Educational Qualifications:
MBA/ BBA / B.Tech / B.Sc. / B.Com
